Journals
Journals can be used to cover your Bible with your thoughts. Some journals are used on a daily basis, others are used as a place to write inspirational scripture passages, a place to store your thoughts and prayers. A Scripture journal is used to study God's word. They are used by young and old, male and female.

Some people journal on blogs – a computer file used as a journal, but many still prefer the physical act of writing down their thoughts. It gives permanence to their words, it is lasting, it is grounded. When you write in a journal, everything is there, the misspellings, re-writes, edits. Nothing is deleted with the touch of a button or the stroke of a key. Unless you take a pen and blot out what you write, everything is there as they say “warts and all”!
You can use a plain old notebook for your journals, and many people do. But why not choose a special place to write these thoughts. If you take the time to write down your thoughts or prayers, give yourself the respect you need for doing this and get a journal. If you didn’t think writing in your journal was an important task, you wouldn’t do it. A journal can store this important part of your life.
Journals come in many sizes. Some are lined and some unlined, dated and undated. Some journals are hardbacks, others flexible. Many journals will have a scripture verse or inspirational quote on each page. You can choose the style and size you want. The choice is up to you.
